" What homeowners need to know about Soto HVAC is how trustworthy and professional their employees are. As an 80-year-old Greenville resident I trusted a friend's recommendation and had Jason and Chico analyze my frozen heat pump system on 22 August. I expected bad news, but they quickly assessed the problem as a poorly maintained vent system, which had clogged with dust, causing the pump itself to freeze even in the summer heat. They let it thaw, and carefully checked every aspect of the system, added some freon, the air flow, which returned to normal, and assured that our 2,000 square foot home was cool again and would stay comfortable until they return to check on us next spring. My family couldn't be happier, and the cost was a mere $50.00 for the diagnostic visit. I am telling all my neighbors and friends about Soto HVAC. "

They caught things that the other companies that quoted me missed. They explained why my airflow was not ideal and recommended ways to improve it. " Soto just replaced all of our ductwork (basement + 1&2 floors,) new thermostats, and a new zoned system for our basement and first floors. When we were interviewing companies, I talked to 9 local HVAC companies that were all highly recommended to me by multiple people, and we ultimately selected Soto because of Jason’s professionalism and apparent knowledge, as well as the incredible value the York system offered (10 yrs parts and labor backed by manufacturer,) making Soto one of the cheaper quotes we’ve received. The process was painless—the install was roughly 2.5 days (Whereas some other companies had quoted 1 to 2 weeks). Of the most significance to me, we discovered a minor issue from a tech mistake and emailed Jason, and he had a tech first thing the next morning, then came by the next day to double check on it personally. He also found an issue with our other system they didn’t install (low refridgerant) that he is coming back to address free of charge. I’ve been impressed with the entire process, but their followup service and quick work to make a mistake right is what really stands out to me as exceptional. "

" On 9/11 my air stopped, I had American Home Shield as my Home warranty ... key word HAD ...after 3 visits from another HVAC repair thru AHS and now it is 10/21/2021 and I’m told it will cost 1535.00, I called SOTO HVAC, Gina quickly set me up for a visit the next morning.
